Join a team helping people experiencing individual and structural disadvantage who want to operate their own small businesses to sustain lifelong change for themselves, their families and communities. Many Rivers is a focused, vibrant and innovative not-for-profit enterprise development organisation, with a special focus on supporting Indigenous Australians. Our dedicated staff apply their business know-how and experiences to guide individuals and communities to start, stay and thrive in business.
About Us
Many Rivers commenced operations in April 2008. Our National Office is in Sydney and our team live and work in remote, regional and urban locations across Australia. We are significantly expanding our national footprint over the next three years and expanding our team to make this possible.
When people impacted by disadvantage are not able to participate in the real economy they remain disadvantaged and unable to move forward. In many of the regions where we are located, there are limited job opportunities. Therefore, to create change and economic opportunities for all Australians who want the chance to overcome economic and social challenges, we need to support enterprise creation and provide connection for small businesses across Australia to the mainstream economies.
Our team comes with a broad range of business, corporate, social services, and community development experiences. We offer:
- The opportunity to genuinely help people change their lives through small business and employment.
- A rigorous, yet positive and supportive working environment.
