MacDonnell Regional Council has various exciting opportunities available for Youth Engagement Officers.

The Council's Youth Services program provides engaging youth development opportunities for young people in remote communities that contribute to positive life outcomes. The Youth Engagement Officer will be both dynamic and innovative, with the ability to work autonomously as well as alongside the Team Leader Youth Services and a team of local staff.

A key aspect of the Youth Engagement Officer position is to assist in the delivery of children's and youth activities within MacDonnell Regional Council's communities. This role provides mentoring, support and referrals for young people engaged with the program.

This position is being offered on a full-time, fixed-term contract to 30 June 2020.
