The MS Queensland Service Delivery Team is a dedicated and passionate group of people who offer a wide range of services to people with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and other Progressive Neurological Disease (PND). They are here to support our customers, their family, when and where they need it through their journey with MS/PND.

About the role

We are seeking a number of experienced Registered Nurses with a strong focus on patient centred care to join our team at Springfield and Albany Creek Apartments. The role will challenge your skills, broaden your experience and grow your expertise through exposure to different treatment options. The hours of work would spread across two shifts predominantly being 6am to 2pm and 1.45pm to 10pm with some flexibility to meet extraordinary needs of our customers.

About you

As a Registered Nurse, you will assist our customers with their clinical care needs as well as enhancing the quality of care provided by the support team. The position involves assessment, care planning and direct care for neurologically impaired customers in their home.

If you are an independent practitioner who utilises excellent clinical skills, advanced critical thinking and communications, you will fit right into the team.

The successful candidate will also possess the following skills and experience, which are essential to fulfil the role:-

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • A passion for patient care and achieving high quality outcome.
  • Ability to work efficiently, compassionately and in dependently with customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Innovative and clinically sound problem solving and decision making abilities.
  • Sound computer skills that will enable comprehensive report writing for each customer.
  • Current first aid and CPR certificate.
  • Ability to prescribe to MS Queensland’s mission, goals and organisational values.
  • Positive notice: satisfactory completion of DSQ Criminal History Check.
