Mount Eliza Neighbourhood House Inc. is seeking a Centre and Program Support officer on a casual basis.
The Centre and Program Support officer will work closely with the Manager and provide a welcoming reception, handle course enquiries and enrolments, liaise with our community and provide program and office support.

Essential
- Well developed communication skills - demonstrated skill and experience in effectively communicating both verbally and in writing
- Administration skills – proven skills in an environment where high level administration skills and attention to detail was essential
- I.T. skills - strong computer skills including use of Microsoft Office Suite, data bases and social media
- Ability to work as part of a team – demonstrated experience in working as part of an effective team
- Commitment to delivering excellence in customer service – proven track record in delivering excellent internal and external customer service
- Ability to work with diverse client groups - an awareness and understanding of the different approaches required in working with diverse client groups
- Organisational skills - demonstrated ability to organise one’s own workload and respond appropriately to conflicting priorities
- Ability to effectively manage conflict – demonstrated awareness of and commitment to diplomacy and handling situations that could escalate in an appropriate manner
Desirable
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Food Handling Certificate
- Qualifications in a related field
- Experience working in a neighbourhood house or not-for-profit organisation
