About the position

Nursery Room Educator

The Service

Malvern Early Learning and Child Care Centre (MELCC) is a dynamic community based, not-for-profit early education and care service. The service delivers high quality education and care with a child focus. MELCC has been assessed by the Department of Education against the National Quality Standard and received a rating of exceeding in 2022.

MELCC is licensed for 35 places and employs 13 passionate and skilled educators. We offer a stimulating, integrated and supportive environment where our natural setting is an integral part of our program. We have a strong focus on our environment and improving sustainable practices. The children are active citizens in their community, engaging in a variety of small group excursions, which fosters positive relationships within our local community.

Skills & Experience

  • Great communication skills and the ability to be flexible and show initiative
  • Must be passionate, respectful, enthusiastic, nurturing, reliable and like-minded educator
  • Work well in a team
  • We are looking for an educator who is dedicated to the success of the whole centre and works collaboratively with other team members, families and management to ensure the success of the service.
