  • Monday, Tuesday and Friday - 21.45 hours per week
  • Base salary range of $51,630 to 54,902 (pro rata) plus superannuation
  • Split shifts and job share arrangements will be considered

Our Aged and Disability Service's Assisted Transport program provides a positive and friendly working environment with a commitment to providing an efficient and customer focussed service to clients of Aged and Disabilities via Assisted Transport. We are looking for a motivated person to work in the rewarding position of Assisted Transport Bus Driver.

Key responsibilities of the position include:

  • Transporting frail aged people to local shopping centres and seniors clubs.
  • Assisting with transporting for other Aged and Disability Support Service programs as required.
  • Responding promptly to service requests ensuring punctual pick up and drop off times as per schedule and assisting clients on and off bus as needed.
  • Preparing weekly rosters including maintaining a daily running sheet, noting client changes, suspensions and terminations.
  • Providing administrative support to the program.

You must have a current Victorian light rigid driver's licence, Victorian Taxi Directorate Licence and significant experience in transporting clients within a community setting. Your demonstrated understanding of the care needs of frail older people combined with a current first aid certification or significant experience in first aid procedure is highly valuable for this position.
