Our Aims:

• To provide an avenue for Maitland Baptist Church to show caring and concern for the needs of the local community.
• To assist working parents and single parents by providing quality childcare at affordable rates.
• To operate “Before and After School Care” and “Vacation Care” programs for children 5-12 years who attend infants or primary school.
• To care for children in a safe, stable and loving environment
• To provide programs and facilities that allow the children to develop to their maximum potential, physically, mentally and socially in a recreational style environment

Vacancies now exist in our expanding OOSH services for Day to Day Person-In-Charge (Supervisors).

The applicants should be experienced, enthusiastic, creative and energetic individuals with a genuine interest for 5 – 12 year old children. Supervisors are employed on a Permanent Part-time basis with a minimum of 27 hrs/wk with split shifts. Applicants must be able to work within MBCCCInc philosophy and mission.

Supervisor duties include:

• Management of children and staff
• Planning and Programming
• Participation in an accreditation process with all elements of ‘My Time, Our Place’ framework

Essential criteria;

A qualification in any of the following:

• Diploma in Children's Services
• Diploma in OOSH
• Bachelor in Early Childhood/Primary Education
• Certificate III in Children's Services
• All with a minimum of 3 years’ experience

Plus the following:

• Current Paid Working with Children Check
• Current Child Protection qualification CHCPRT001
• Willingness to obtain Supervisor Certificate
• Hold a current HLTAID004 First Aid in an Education Care Setting certificate.
