About us

Our Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Service in Gladstone and outreach to Biloela provides a client-centred, stepped care model including a specialised methamphetamine focus. It offers individual and group counselling, pre- and post-rehabilitation support, relapse prevention, case management, day programs, care planning and care coordination for clients with AOD dependence, dual diagnosis and complex needs.

Lives Lived Well is a leading, not-for-profit organisation delivering innovative and accessible services aimed at influencing behaviour, reducing harm, aiding recovery and bringing about positive change in people's lives.

About the role

We are looking for passionate professionals to be an integral part of creating and delivering this new service providing holistic support to our clients.

The role will provide you with the opportunity to:

  • Provide high quality engagement, assessment, counselling and support services to clients
  • Provide high level advice, case management and support to clients
  • Build and foster productive networks and relationships within the community
  • Outreach within the community (using our pool vehicles)

As an experienced professional you will be

  • Be a skilled AOD practitioner, ideally with experience and qualifications in providing integrated case management and counselling
  • Have highly developed community engagement skills
  • Ideally, hold Bachelor level qualifications in a relevant health service discipline (eg. Psychology, social work or allied health), or equivalent experience

Remuneration package is inclusive of base salary, salary packaging and superannuation, and is negotiable based on skills and experience of successful candidate.
