We have an amazing team who work to achieve our mission on a day to day basis. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic person with outstanding verbal and written communication skills who is passionate about supporting the team and the organisation to perform to the best of their ability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The ability to engage effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
  • Have a strong focus on time management and attention to detail.
  • Research, collect and analyse data and other information to assist in preparing reports and documents.
  • Assisting with the preparation of quality and compliance for the annual ISO accreditation audit.
  • Creating and carrying out quarterly internal audit schedule across all departments of the organisation.
  • Assist and coordinate all logistics and documentation for governance related tasks including monthly board meetings and Annual General Meetings .
  • Perform relief reception duties including answering phones, greeting clients/visitors and permitting access to the building.

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the impact of past Government policies on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in Australia.
  • At least 5 years experience in administrative or office co ordination role.
  • Qualifications in Certificate III in Business Administration would be ideal.
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team including working with people from culturally diverse backgrounds.
  • Demonstrate developed computer skills especially in the Microsoft office suite; Adobe, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of Quality and compliance; ISO accreditation audit would be ideal.
  • Aboriginality is a genuine qualification and is authorised by Section 14d of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977.
