About the role

Based at our office in Winnellie, the Team Leader demonstrates organisational and leadership skills in the coordination of services to assist our clients. The position is focused upon ensuring that the individual needs of clients are met, whilst maintaining an efficient and safe working environment in our Aged and Community Care Program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordination and management of the daily operations of CHSP and Home Care Packages
  • As required, coordinate and/or oversee rostering and timesheet requirements according to individual support needs of clients and service funding using TRACCs
  • Ensure the team complies with relevant legislation and Life Without Barriers’ policies
  • Provide direct assistance and support to clients
  • Provide supervision and support to direct reports
  • Onboarding of new clients and yearly reviews

Skills & Experience

  • Diploma in relevant Social & Community Services qualification
  • Demonstrated experience of working in a leadership role in a human services organisation
  • Strong coordination, leadership and peer support skills
  • Established problem solving and conflict management skills
  • Demonstrated experience in maintaining and providing service user and staff confidentiality

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
