Every day, Life Without Barriers provides support and care to children and young people, as we work collaboratively with families, carers, and communities, to ensure they have the environment they deserve to grow. With a focus on ensuring safety and respect, this is an opportunity to make a positive and meaningful difference in these young lives and help pave a brighter future.
Life Without Barriers is a leading social purpose organisation of 8,000 employees working in more than 500 communities across Australia. We support children, young people and families, people with disability, older people and people with mental illness. We work with people who are homeless and refugees and asylum seekers. Join a community of people dedicated to breaking down barriers.
We want to employ people who reflect the diversity of our clients to ensure we can support each client's individual needs and wants. We encourage people of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background and people with disability to apply.
We are excited to launch the next stage in the rollout of our new National After-Hours Service for our Child, Youth and Family Services. The service was created to provide on-call support to our staff and carers who support young people and children in our Out of Home Care Services nationally. As part of this support, we will also provide an after-hours rostering team who will manage any shift changes between the hours of 5pm and 9am weekdays and complete cover over the weekends.
As a Rostering Officer you will work as part of a centralised team to coordinate and optimise the available workforce by utilising rostering and scheduling systems (Microsoft Teams SHIFTs) to best meet client requirements and promote a sustainable workforce.
You will be working from home on a rotating roster. Shift times may vary due to national coverage and time differences.
Weekdays - between 6am-11am & 4pm-12am. May be extended during public holidays.
Weekends - 6am-2:30pm & 2pm-11pm
These roles will be offered as a casual contract to suit people’s preferences and availability.
Please note: This is a true casual on-call roster with no guarantee of regular hours. This role would suit someone looking for a second income.
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check and compulsory state-based checks in Child Protection.
Include your resume and covering letter in one document, click ‘Apply Now’ and follow the prompts.
