About the role
Working as a client side project manager you will be responsible for managing projects from initial concept through to completion. The successful applicant will be welcomed into an established and progressive environment based in our Newcastle Head Office.
Key responsibilities
- Site due diligence checks
- Liaising with consultants, contractors and other asset management staff engaged in the development, design and construction phases of individual projects
- Monitoring the status of each phase of delivery of capital works across the portfolio
- Providing a point of contact to discuss initial and ongoing requirements for capital works
- Preparing a range of project related documents as instructed, including project briefs, status updates, reports, budget and discussion papers as required
- Involvement in the development of technical specifications and layouts for individual capital and maintenance projects as required
- Monitoring project compliance with relevant guidelines such as the Building Code of Australia and WH&S legislation
- Maintaining an effective and efficient records management system to allow ready access to project data and progress to progress to support the development of reports and briefings to senior management.

Skills & experience
- A background in the construction industry
- Previous experience working in a service driven position
- Self-motivated individual with the ability to work autonomously
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
