About the Role

Working in a positive team environment, you will be actively supporting clients  in a 24/7 Supported Accommodation setting. This is a challenging but rewarding opportunity for you to make a positive change in the lives of people with a Disability, working on fortnightly rotating shift rosters which will include Sleepover Shifts. Permanent contracts of 54 and 56 hours per fortnight available.

Shift Times:

08:30- 17:30  (Days)
17:00 - 09:00 (Sleep over)  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clients who can display challenging behaviours with opportunities to access their local communities
  • Support in day to day living, promoting cooking, house keeping, hygiene, shopping etc.
  • Maintenance of progress notes and record keeping

Positions are based in and around the southern suburbs of Perth, WA. Permanent part-time contracts available

Skills & Experience

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or working towards
  • Significant experience working with people who have a Disability and challenging behaviours
  • Peg Feeding experience
  • A current Senior First Aid Certificate
  • A current unrestricted Driver Licence
  • Ability to take a permanent roster
  • Prior knowledge or experience working with people who have a Disability

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
