About the Role

As a casual Assistant in Nursing, you will provide person-centred nursing care, domestic assistance and active support to people living with a disability. The assistance required will depend on the client, however experience and confidence with personal care and medication management will be highly regarded. Due to the support needs of our clients, you will also be required to work flexibly across a 24/7 roster. This includes short shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver quality care for people with disability in line with their individual lifestyle plans
• Observe and report changes in clients’ health and daily living needs in a timely manner
• Cooperate within a team to share information and ensure consistent service delivery
• Complete required documentation to ensure accurate records are maintained
• Report potential risks and safety hazards to maintain a safe work environment for all

Skills & Experience

• An unrestricted New South Wales driver’s licence
• Committed to work flexible work hours across the week, including public holidays
• Demonstrated ability to use basic technology and software on a mobile and desktop
• Experience working as an Assistant in Nursing or hold a relevant certificate is highly regarded
• A current First Aid Certificate, which includes the course HLTAID003 or HLTAID011

Successful candidates will be required to clear all state-based probity checks; including but not limited to a National Criminal History Record Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
