Liverpool Women's Health Centre (LWHC) has been delivering quality health services to improve the lives of women in South Western Sydney for over 40 years. We are a non-government, not for profit, multi-disciplinary and holistic health service run by women for women.
Liverpool Women's Health Centre offers a broad range of client centred, evidence based, primary and preventative health care services and programs, which aim to improve the health and wellbeing of women, particularly women experiencing disadvantage, primarily residing in the Liverpool/ Fairfield Local Government Areas.
Liverpool Women's Health Centre operates from a feminist perspective, under a social model of health where service provision is based on principles of social justice and an understanding of a gendered approach to health.
We are an Incorporated Association and registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) as a Charity with Public Benevolent Institution status.
Liverpool Women’s Health Centre is seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced applicants for the position of Manager, part time, 63 hours per fortnight (9 day fortnight).
The Manager is responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction for Liverpool Women’s Health Centre (LWHC), under the guidance of the Management Committee. Key areas of responsibility include day to day management of LWHC operations, human resource management, financial management, service development and consultation, promotion and marketing, public accountability, Work Health and Safety and risk management.
All work will be undertaken in accordance with Liverpool Women’s Health Centre philosophy, standards, policies and procedures and relevant legislation.
Salary paid under the SCHCADS Award 2010 at level 8, pay point to be negotiated depending on qualifications and experience. Liverpool Women's Health Centre offers generous above award conditions including a 35 hour work week (pro rata), additional leave entitlements and salary packaging options.
