The role:

As one of two Production Managers, this full-time role is to support and manage the Production Room Managers to effectively run their businesses and teams, ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), meet quality standards, meet customer and store demand, develop and engage teams and maintain a safe work environment.

Core Responsibilities:

• Motivate and coach direct reports to engage them, achieve financial goals and sustainably grow the business
• Manage staff performance and highlight opportunities and areas to improve while supporting them for the continued professional development
• Ensure staff adhere to all policies, procedures and industrial awards, including with regard to working hours, overtime, breaks and attendance
• Work with the Operations Manager to determine, implement and report on production strategies and plans, including factory staffing and working hours
• Support other production managers with day to day tasks
• Ensure that the workplace is safe for all staff by addressing any safety concerns quickly and escalating concerns to the Operations Manager as appropriate
• Implement and review quality procedures to help constantly improve processes
• Other responsibilities as needed from time to time - we work as a team

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

• Have a proven record of excellent management experience to deliver high standards to match customer demand
• Have the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with different levels of management
• Have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a timely manner
• Good experience in conflict resolution
• Have a proven track record of productivity gains
• Excellent Google & Microsoft Office Applications user
• 5 years of production experience (preferable) in a manufacturing business - preferably food or cosmetics
• Have a strong ethical compass and is passionate about our brand values and belief
