Part of the Knoxbrooke Enterprises group, Yarra View Bushland Nursery with 3 separate sites in Mt. Evelyn and Wandin. We produce a broad range of plants and have customers across the south eastern states of Australia that include retailers, landscapers, councils and construction firms.

We are one of Australia’s leading social enterprise organisations, providing supported employment and training opportunities for people living with a disability, in a true commercial environment. You can find our plants along the recently opened Mordialloc Freeway project as well as the Bayswater and Heatherdale Station projects.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a full-time Nursery Worker to work alongside and lead by example a team of 4 people with a disability working in our Dispatch area. With guidance from a senior Area Supervisor you will instruct and supervise Supported Employees in performing the duties required as well as take a lead role in managing wholesale market orders and working with internal customers such as our sales team.

ABOUT YOU

Fit, healthy and active; you will have a strong work ethic and love working outdoors in a team environment. You will be able to demonstrate great communication and leadership skills along with the ability to interact with people of diverse abilities.

This position requires high level communication skills, attention to detail, plant identification skills and computer literacy.

Previous wholesale (preferred) nursery experience over 12 months is required for this role, experience working with people with a disability and/or leadership experience is also well regarded.
