The Children’s Services Partnerships Team is looking for someone who is energetic, approachable, and passionate about supporting families experiencing vulnerabilities to lead our dedicated Supported and Facilitated Playgroups team.

The role is responsible for the management and delivery of our Supported Playgroups and Little Learners Playgroup program.

The role

We are seeking a Senior Supported Playgroup Facilitator to join the team. Reporting to the Team Leader Children’s Services Partnerships, your role is to:

  • Develop strong relationships with families and key stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain referral pathways and collaborative partnerships with community service providers
  • Recruit eligible families to participate in the playgroups and in-home support
  • Manage, support and supervise our Playgroup Facilitators
  • Ensure funding requirements and key performance indicators are being met.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Services (eg. Bachelor Education or Early Childhood Services)
  • Demonstrated experience in the leadership of teams
  • Extensive experience in the delivery of supported playgroups (including Small Talk messages) or early childhood education and care services
  • Experience working with families who are experiencing vulnerabilities.

The salary for this position starts at $93,076.47 (Band 6) pro rata per annum plus superannuation.
