About the opportunity

PepperTree Place works in partnership with organisations and community networks to support individuals and families facing barriers to social and financial inclusion, using community horticulture as a tool to provide meaningful opportunities to learn, work and play. 

About you

We are seeking an energetic and experienced Community Garden Coordinator with a proven ability to work with people within a community garden setting and manage successful social enterprises with a horticultural focus. Integral to your success will be your capacity to:

  • Apply your learning and experience in community development within a community garden setting
  • Apply your business skills to maintaining the nursery as a current social enterprise
  • Implement community activities
  • Deliver programs that inspire people to achieve
  • Maintain existing program networks
  • Provide ethical management of people, infrastructure and resources
  • Demonstrate leadership in the community sector
