Kidsafe ACT is seeking an energetic CEO to lead and grow the organisation. The key job responsibilities are:

• Manage Kidsafe ACT operations in accord with its vision, mission, values, and policies, as well as governance and Quality Assurance standards.
• Demonstrate proactive strategic leadership and vision, build new strategic alliances, and recommend strategic directions for Kidsafe ACT. Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders to identify opportunities, achieve outcomes, and facilitate collaboration.
• Anticipate and establish new program priorities, monitor progress and work to deliver required Kidsafe ACT outcomes within its area of responsibility.
• Oversight Kidsafe ACT’s finances to ensure sustainable financial viability for the organisation,
  including securing government grants and developing and implementing new delivery programs to grow third party funding.
• Have regard to the wider implications in making decisions for annual business planning & reporting.
• Represent and develop the interests of the Kidsafe ACT community by making representations to relevant government agencies and other stakeholders. This requires issue identification and resolution, and to increase awareness of child injury prevention across multiple sectors and within the broader community.
• Maintain productive working relationships with the Committee, Kidsafe ACT stakeholders, the community and Kidsafe Australia.
• Support and manage Kidsafe ACT staff and volunteers by building capability in a team environment through coaching others, providing performance feedback, conflict resolution and encouraging career development.
• Promote a safe work environment and compliance with all Work, Health, and Safety legislation.
• Ensure Kidsafe ACT has an effective Business Continuity Plan.
