We are looking for a suitably experienced Bookkeeper to join our growing team for 20-30 hours per week. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining clients’ records and ongoing day to day bookkeeping support. Confidentiality and time management are essential, and the ability to excel as a team player as well as independently. There is the opportunity for part-time employment, with flexible working hours, and the ability to be based at either Brooklyn Park or Mt Barker. Ideal for someone who is looking for flexible working hours revolving around children’s schooling. There is also the opportunity to be involved in upcoming projects providing diversity and career growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and current business transactions and records for clients
• Manage multiple engagement tasks efficiently and autonomously
• Prepare comprehensive month-end reconciliations and reports
• Payroll processing and Single Touch Payroll
• Creditor and debtor management
• Preparation and lodgement for BAS, Superannuation and compliance
• Ongoing day to day bookkeeping for existing clients including grant tracking and reporting

Qualifications & Skills:

• Relevant bookkeeping qualifications and/or proven experience
• Proficiency in using software’s such as Xero, MYOB and Intuit
• Being able to maintain client confidentiality
• Strong communication skills
• Culturally competent and/ or willingness to undertake Cultural Awareness Training
• High attention to detail and accuracy
