Our Child Care HUB is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, creative and flexible early years’ worker to join our team. The worker who will best suit this role will bring with them experience in early years education, a strong desire to work alongside families, enjoy communicating and connecting with others and be looking for work opportunities outside of centre-based care.

Kyabra HUB offers early years’ activities and supports to the local families; facilitated playgroups on site at our main office and out in the community with the support of our playbus. The successful applicant will have the knowledge and capacity to create developmental activities for young children and capacity to co-facilitate playgroups and work as part of a team. The successful applicant will also be effective in offering family support and engaging with parents attending the playgroups.

  • A Diploma in Early Childhood, or working towards this diploma, is highly desired.
  • Certificate III in Early Childhood will be considered.
  • Current driver's license is essential, provisional status accepted.
  • All staff at Kyabra are required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

Salary and conditions are in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award.
