ABOUT the role

The Stakeholder Engagement Officer is a new and exciting opportunity within the broader Corporate Affairs, Impact and Communication team.

Your primary focus will be to map stakeholders and use your knowledge of people and relationships to design targeted communications and engagement strategies and activities to help SGCH build, maintain, and improve stakeholder relationships in a complex stakeholder environment.

  • Work with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to build a holistic picture of SGCH relationships.
  • Implement a digital stakeholder management solution and populate with accurate data and relationship categorisation.
  • Guide others through development and implementation, and demonstrate benefits.
  • Use your knowledge of people and relationships to design targeted communications and engagement strategies and activities to help SGCH build, maintain, and improve stakeholder relationships in a complex stakeholder environment.

about YOU

Essential Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement (preferably customer-facing) roles in issues rich environments.
  • Ability to liaise with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to build a holistic picture of SGCH relationships.
  • Implement a digital stakeholder management solution and populate with accurate data and relationship categorisation. Guide others through development and implementation and demonstrate benefits.
  • Project management skills with the ability to create and manage plans, prioritise work and deliver to deadlines.
  • Knowledge and experience in use of CRM platforms and ability to quickly learn and navigate new systems/software.
  • Strong attention to detail ensuring information collected is accurate and reliable, with demonstrated ability to gather information to analyse, interpret, and summarise data.
  • Flexible, able to tailor and adapt an approach for a positive outcome
  • Proactive team player with a can-do attitude

Desirable Requirements

  • Knowledge of IAP2 and/or qualifications
  • Experienced in digital stakeholder management technology and techniques.
  • Can work with less tech-savvy people to adopt complex technology
  • Can multi-task and possesses strong organisation and prioritisation skills
