Groundwork Psychology is a dynamic and modern clinic located in Collingwood that delivers high quality, affordable psychological therapy and assessments services to clients under Medicare, TAC, WorkCover, EAP, Victims of Crime, NDIS and Private Practice service delivery models.

We are looking for a caring and motivated Psychologist to join our friendly and professional team.

The role would suit an early career or experienced Psychologist who is looking for:

Key selection criteria:

  1. Current registration with Psychology Board of Australia / Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) – Psychologist with General Registration
  2. Understanding of mental illness – an understanding of the impact that a significant mental illness can have on a person’s life, their families and carers, particularly people with complex needs and high levels of disadvantage
  3. Capacity to work in a competitive funding environment and maintain client caseloads
  4. Strong preference for excellent quality service provision
  5. Demonstrated ability to build and develop networks, service partnerships and collaborations.
  6. Participant recovery focus – demonstrated understanding of and a belief in participant – focused, strength based, trauma informed and recovery orientated models of service
  7. Ability to be flexible, to work autonomously and contribute to a professional team environment
  8. Self-management and self-awareness, communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.

They will also need to provide their Working With Children's Check and disclose any previous or current disciplinary action (i.e. finding of improper or unprofessional conduct by any Court or Tribunal) and sign a Confidentiality Agreement.
