JobCo. Employment Services Inc., is a not-for-profit community-based organisation offering a range of programs across Melbourne. With a proud history of assisting people with mental health issues on their recovery journey, we continue to grow our NDIS service delivery across Melbourne.

The NDIS Area Business Manager is responsible for the management and delivery of JobCo’s NDIS program operating out of an NDIS Hub, reporting to JobCo's NDIS Program Manager.

You will lead your team of professionals and continue to grow JobCo's local offering in a KPI-driven dynamic environment, all while ensuring high quality service provision to our clients. The growth of your local NDIS business will be essential to achieving your budget.

Your positive attitude, collaborative can-do approach, recovery focus, problem solving skills and ability to motivate others will ensure you are successful.

JobCo is a registered NDIS Provider and you must be willing to undergo a NDIS Worker Screening Check, provide a copy of your Working With Children's Check disclose any previous or current disciplinary action (i.e. finding of improper or unprofessional conduct by any Court or Tribunal) and sign a Confidentiality Agreement.

KSC:

Required:

  • Experience in a commercial or business environment
  • A minimum of two years’ demonstrated management experience and a proven track record of supervising a team working towards agreed business and/or financial goals
  • A minimum of two years’ experience working within the NDIS environment
  • Effective interpersonal and team skills and behaviours, incorporating verbal and written communication, listening, flexibility, empathy and resilience
  • Ability to develop community linkages – demonstrated skills and experience to liaise, collaborate, facilitate and develop linkages with government, relevant community and clinical services, health and other professionals in relation to participant needs and program needs

Desirable:

  • Tertiary qualifications and at least 2 years’ experience in disability / psychology / behavioural science / social work or similar or currently working towards this qualification
  • Knowledge and understanding of working under Government contract
