The role:

This role is to support a participant living in the Melton area, The roster is a 24/7, 2:1 support (1:1 at night). We are seeking applicants who have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in intense therapeutic care/high behaviours of concern (Certificate IV in Disability or equivalent is mandatory).

The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a pro active approach and the ability to apply reflective practice.

Applicants are required to have open and flexible availability.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Proficient experience in Out of Home Care (OOHC) and supporting participants with a disability or vulnerable youth with complex behaviours.
• Drivers Licence.
• First Aid/CPR Certificate.
• Working with Children Check.
• Have an NDIS Workers Screening Clearance.
• Relevant Qualifications – see above.
• Own reliable, registered vehicle with insurance.
• Mobile phone with email and internet access.
