The Street Lighting Design and Technical Officer will be responsible for supporting the Ironbark team working with council clients through the process of developing public lighting designs. The role will involve close liaison with Ironbark staff and potentially other public lighting stakeholders.

The successful candidate should be experienced in AS/NZS 1158 (or similar) and preferably be able to use the PerfectLite software suite to produce lighting tables, isolux plots and preliminary lighting designs to be added into final AutoCAD designs.

The Technical Officer component will incorporate assessing street lights and the facilitation of the Public Lighting Approvals Network (PLAN), which involves liaison with approval authorities and street light suppliers, technical assessment of street lights and fulfilling the requirements of Ironbark’s NATA accreditation as an Inspection Body.

The role is part time (0.6 FTE) based in Collingwood, Victoria.
