Senior Learning & Development Business Partner

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced L&D specialist to collaborate with Interrelate staff to create and implement an organisational L&D plan that ensures we are equipped with the right knowledge and skills to deliver the strategic deliverables.

The role:

You will be experienced in assessing and building workforce capability and will thrive on the opportunity to contribute strategically to ensure Interrelate's current and future learning & development needs are met. You will be proficient in understanding the needs of a broad range of professionals including practitioners with backgrounds in social work, counselling and psychology and non-clinical staff in client experience, marketing, finance, IT and HR. This role will report to the Head of People, Culture & Workforce Development and will work closely with all business units and teams within Interrelate.

You will:

  • design a workforce development strategy in consultation with Interrelate staff and management
  • implement interactive and engaging training methods of face-to-face, e-learning and blended methodologies to meet organisational L&D needs
  • facilitate the delivery and design of a wide range of L&D programs, workshops and learning activities across a range of modalities
  • design and deliver new L&D programs, workshops and activities for internal training, within your area of expertise, including creating the content of e-learning programs
  • liaise with internal and external L&D providers to support them in the promotion, administration and delivery of training
  • ensure all L&D programs and activities are culturally sensitive and promote diversity and inclusion
  • develop learning outcomes, assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of programs

This is a Head Office position, however will predominantly be working from home. Travel to regional offices will be required from time to time. As this position requires you to provide in person services and work occasionally within an office, you are required to be fully vaccinated and stay up to date with vaccines to comply with Interrelates vaccination policy.

KEY ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Essential - TAE40116 Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training, or equivalent L&D qualification
  • Highly regarded - undergraduate degree in social science, counselling, social work or psychology
  • Minimum 5 years' experience identifying training needs, developing programs and facilitation of face-to-face and online learning
  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver engaging, interactive and informative workshops within budget and time constraints
  • Highly regarded - basic knowledge of Articulate or equivalent content creation systems; LMS experience and associated tools
  • Highly regarded - social services sector experience
  • Experience in conducting training needs analysis, writing, facilitating, assessments and all associated administration
