An opportunity exists for an early childhood professional to take on the role of playgroup facilitator for North Sydney Supported Playgroups which is a Department of Community and Justice funded program.

About the Role

Working at Integricare, you will be part of an organisation with a strong heritage and commitment to excellence in all we do. 

This is a casual position, based in Artarmon and working within the Northern Sydney region of Sydney. You will be required to travel to different locations within the Northern Sydney area to co- facilitate the supported playgroups.

Your main role within the supported playgroups setting is to work with parents/carers and children aged 0-6. Your role is to implement the age-appropriate play program, support families, increase the use of positive parenting, support early literacy, model play based interactions and support families with simple parenting.

About You

• The successful candidate must possess a Certificate or Diploma in Children’s Services or working towards completing these qualifications. 
• You also much have experience working with the CALD Community within children’s services. 
• You will have good communication skills and be willing to assist with planning and implementing of programs for children. 
• You will be an enthusiastic team player with the ability to demonstrate initiative and flexibility. 

Essential: 

• First Aid
• A Valid Working with Children Check
• Drivers Licence
• Proof of Covid19 Vaccine
