We currently have vacancies for Disability Support Workers in Anglesea and Torquay.

We are currently seeking people who have:
- Previous experience as a disability support worker in the community or in-home setting
- Certificate III or IV in Disability or similar
- An ability to create supportive and professional working partnerships which encourages client independence
- Excellent interpersonal skills including working positively with others, problem solving and dealing with conflict
- Ensuring compassionate care to client’s needs
- Previous experience in the following will be highly regarded;
- Showering/Dressing/Grooming
- Leg Bag/Catheter Care/Bowel Care
- Meal Preparation/Assistance
- Slide Boards/Hoist Transfers
- Wheelchairs
- Domestic Assistance
- Community Access
- Availability to work either Morning, Afternoon or Night shifts
- Own car and valid driver’s licence
- Smart phone and internet access
Positions require a satisfactory Pre-Employment Police Check, DWES Check and Pre-Employment Medical Assessment. International driver's licence will not be accepted.
The successful applicants must be willing to undergo further training and development, specific to the clients’ care.
