Based in Salisbury North, InComPro is a not for profit organisation specialising in the support of Aboriginal people and provides a range of services including supported accommodation, respite services, tenancy support and community and cultural engagement for people with a disability or complex needs. Additionally, InComPro provides support services to youth including mentoring, supported accommodation and case management.

InComPro are looking for a Specialised Support Coordinator (Disability Services) to support participants to communicate their goals and aspirations to their stakeholder team and the NDIA. This role is responsible for supporting individuals with complex needs and ensuring services are culturally appropriate to individual values. The successful applicant will have experience in supporting clients with challenging behaviours.

We are looking for a skilled, passionate person who genuinely wants to change the lives of Aboriginal people living with a disability & complex needs.

About You:

  • Qualification in Allied Health and registration with APHRA or equivalent
  • Ideally, you will have experience as a Support Coordinator or exposure working within the NDIS environment
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in the disability field or a related area of expertise
  • Experience in engaging and supporting people with complex support needs is essential.
  • Demonstrated commitment to disability and a passion for human rights
  • The drive to build supportive and inclusive environments for people with disability
  • Ability to engage, and relate with, a diverse range of people, including people with disability, service providers and government departments
  • Ability to effectively manage work schedules, and to work both independently and as part of a team
  • High level of skill in the use of Microsoft Office applications
  • Have an NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and completed NDIA worker module
  • The ability to travel to regional areas with occasional overnight stays
