With limited government funding, they rely on national business partnerships and community support to deliver essential vision loss services. GDA’s role is to support member organisations across advocacy, brand governance, collaboration and national partnership management.
The Communications & Marketing Specialist - Partnerships serves as the key liaison for the Partnerships team, delivering both strategic insights and operational support to meet marketing needs that will drive the delivery of sustainable, multi-faceted strategic partnerships.
This role requires a proactive approach to identifying communication solutions, including crafting copy for newsletters and digital assets, repurposing existing materials, or engaging external providers. You will also spearhead innovative marketing campaigns to enhance strategic partnerships, develop engaging social media content, and provide comprehensive reports on partnership activations.
This role will keep the team updated on partner needs and relevant media coverage, while also supporting the GDA Head of Brand, Marketing, and Communications to foster collaboration and maximise impact across GDA, state member organisations as well as national partners, particularly with the creation and sharing of national content and assets.
