We are looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to assist with project planning, monitoring, coordination, and implementation to improve the quality and sustainability of primary health care in the region. Our client is a Primary Healthcare organisation servicing Western NSW that has created a new start-up company in response to significant Primary Care needs. This is a key administrative role and you will be required to work collaboratively across the sector as well as engage internal stakeholders including subject matter experts to achieve high quality service and organisational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of programme activities by applying best-practice project management methodologies
  • Preparation of reports and budgets/financial statements and grant proposals
  • Coordinate meetings and other administrative tasks as needed
  • Facilitate relationship building between participating agencies and partner organisations
  • Engage with diverse and appropriate representatives of the communities in the region
  • Work with the communications officer promote programs and services to the community and clinicians
  • Manage confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner

You will need:

  • Experience as a project/program coordination
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Time management capabilities so assigned outcomes are achieved within time frames
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Travel, including overnight stays, across the region within Western NSW will be necessary. Occasional intrastate and/or interstate travel may also be required.

You should reside in the region and working conditions will be hybrid and flexible.
