International Social Service (ISS) Australia is seeking a qualified and experienced Social Worker to deliver intercountry social work services to clients impacted by International Parental Child Abduction (IPCA) around Australia. We are seeking a proactive applicant who can work remotely, or in the NSW or Victorian office if possible and preferred.
The successful candidate will be eligible to work in Australia, have an AASW approved social work qualification and social work experience working with families and children. Full training in intercountry social work will be provided. Qualifications as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDPR) are an advantage, however not an essential requirement for the position.
The position is part time, 4 days a week (days negotiable) (FTE 0.8) and offered on a fixed-term contract basis until June 2024. Your salary and conditions will be based on the national Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services (SCHCADS) Award Level 5 or 6 depending on experience . You will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement and comply with the organisation's policies and procedures. You will report to the International Parental Child Abduction Social Work Service Manager.
