About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative individual to join our team, to explore and inspire business development opportunities in Newcastle, NSW.
The Business Development Coordinator will be establishing our Presence in Newcastle, NSW for I-HDS Accommodation services. You will work closely with Support Coordinators and the wider disability service providers to improve knowledge and understanding of our services and affect greater engagement with, and inclusion of, NDIS participants and people with disability.
The successful applicant will enjoy working in a collaborative environment, possesses excellent communication skills and can build effective professional rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to attract new participants, including individuals with disabilities, their families, disability support organisations, and NDIS providers.
- Build and maintain a strong local community referral network based on respect and confidence
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and marketing channels
- Act as the primary point of contact for all daily operations, including potential participants, addressing inquiries, providing information, and guiding them through the processes
- Prepare reports on business development activities, participant acquisition metrics, and recommendations for optimising strategies
- Monitor participant satisfaction and feedback, and collaborate with relevant teams to enhance the participant experience
- Identifying and attending relevant stakeholder meetings to promote the organisation

As a Business DevelopmentCoordinator, we are looking for the below experience
- Previous business development and customer relationship management experience
- Proven success in growing and closing business opportunities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to influence to drive successful outcomes
- The ability to work autonomously to achieve success as part of a wider supportive team
- An understanding of the disability sector is highly desirable
- Ability to interact with all key stakeholders associated with this position
- Current NSW Driver’s License
- COVID-19 & Flu Vaccination
- NDIS Worker screening check
