The Opportunity

Be the first point of contact for young people, families and friends accessing the service for support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a welcoming, youth-friendly and accessible reception service
  • Operate switchboard
  • Scheduling and changing appointments
  • Processing of Medicare and HiCAPS
  • Process recalls and reminders for GP’s
  • Conduct daily opening and closing procedures
  • Assist with the collection, distribution, scanning and responding to mail, faxes, email and messages

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in delivering reception services within a community health centre, medical practice or mental health service
  • Experience using TrakCare, Medical Director, Pracsoft or other electronic health records (desirable)
  • Experience with Medicare billing and use of EFTPOS and HICAPS
