The Allied Health Team is seeking enthusiastic and motivated experienced Grade 1 or Grade 2 Physiotherapist. The Allied Health teams provide integrated health and support services for older adults, those with a disability, adults with chronic and complex needs, their carers and their families as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Physiotherapy assessment and interventions provided individually or in a group setting provided across our centres or in people's homes
  • Supervision and delegation of physiotherapy tasks to allied health assistants as appropriate
  • Promotion of health and wellbeing across the spectrum from prevention, early intervention through to a range of services for various conditions
  • Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and alongside partners
  • Engage in supervision framework and educational and quality improvement initiatives to support learning and development

Skills and Experience

  • Have experience or interest in working with people with neurological conditions, disability and adults with other chronic and complex conditions
  • Be focused on client-centred, evidence-based practice and quality improvement
  • Be able to empower clients with self-management strategies
  • Be organised, with strong time management skills
  • Be motivated to achieve excellent and equitable health outcomes, providing timely, appropriate and effective care
  • Have APHRA physiotherapy registration
