IDV are seeking an experienced and diverse Administration Officer to provide quality customer service and critical admin support within the areas of Work Health & Safety, Quality Assurance and Service Delivery.

Established in 1954, IDV is a not for profit community service organisation in the Northern metropolitan region dedicated to delivering support services to people with disabilities.

We support over 150 people with a disability to realise and achieve their goals and aspirations with a strong emphasis on community.

Our objective is to work with our community partners, to deliver sustainable and meaningful opportunities for people with disabilities.

Key responsibilities of the Administration Officer

The Administration Officer is responsible for supporting the Service Delivery team with critical and timely administrative support that enhances our service delivery model and provides exceptional customer service to our participants and families.

  • Support the Operations Administration Officer with all service delivery related administration tasks
  • Assist with service agreement actions and follow up
  • Manage the shared Outlook email accounts and respond to all queries
  • Action Work Health Safety and Quality related activities and follow up
  • Complete data entry for Internal registers and support with actions from Internal Audits
  • Undertake retention calls of our casual workforce
  • Support with interview scheduling and reference checking
  • Provide general administration support to the service delivery team including working towards automating systems and practices
  • Provide regular reports to the General Manager Operations

About You

You will have a a real drive and passion of working with people and helping them achieve their personal goals.

The successful candidate will also need to demonstrate the following key selection criteria.

  • Understanding of the NDIS operating framework
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build a rapport with internal and external stakeholders
  • A professional, positive approach and a pro-active attitude
  • Clear and professional, written, and verbal communication skills
  • A confident ability and a high level of experience with Microsoft Suite
  • Solutions oriented and ability to work collaboratively
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail

Prerequisites

  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module
  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • Satisfactory Police Check
  • Full COVID-19 Vaccination and Booster Certificate
