Homes North is a highly reputed not-for-profit organisation with offices in the New England North West of NSW, who make it their business to create secure, affordable and sensitively managed housing opportunities for low income households. Due to continued growth throughout the organisation, we are looking to employ a Compliance Analyst based in Armidale.

Reporting to the Risk and Compliance Manager, the Compliance Analyst will work with internal and external stakeholders with the aim of supporting Homes North’s risk, compliance and quality frameworks. 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Management of complaints to closure, providing overall recommendations for improvements and further actions to the Complaints Manager as appropriate
  • Management of Contracts/Agreements – liaising with relevant stakeholders, assessing and reporting on risks, ensuring responsibilities are assigned as appropriate using contract management software
  • Develop and implement processes to support the production of monthly, quarterly and annual compliance reports
  • Managing the implementation of a policy register software solution
  • Work across teams to identify and support performance improvement opportunities
  • Assisting with other duties, as needed and directed

Applicants must demonstrate:

Essential:

  • Extensive experience or qualifications in a relevant field
  • Experience in process improvement
  • A proven ability to critically and analytically solve problems
  • High level of computer literacy –Excel, Word, Outlook with the ability to learn and use new software packages relevant to the role
  • Attention to detail with a strong emphasis on accuracy
  • Time management skills – the ability to work autonomously and prioritise work
  • High level of communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Excellent stakeholder/relationship management skills
  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • Current Criminal History Check
  • Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

Desirable:

  • Experience within the Community Services sector or not-for-profit sector
