At Hireup, we understand the important role technology, and specifically, digital product, plays in connecting people. For our team, it’s not only about creating the most elegant, intuitive, accessible and powerful peer-to-peer platform in Australia, but to ensure we are building an efficient and lean model that maximises choice and control for both Australians living with disability and their support workers. The team is passionate about solving complex problems and love being able to see the direct impact these solutions have for the thousands of people in Hireup’s rapidly growing community.

Reporting directly to our Chief Product Officer, you will have responsibility for the growth of the Hireup platform. Your product leadership will define and deliver Hireup’s product roadmap and growth opportunities whilst providing a vision and direction to the product team, company and broader industry which supports the seamless user experience we aim to deliver for our community

The role

  • Product leadership in a fast changing and high growth environment focused on building activation and engagement of our community of users
  • Develop, adapt and refine the product vision and roadmap from a deep understanding of the business strategy
  • Develop and own the product experience and growth strategy
  • Measure and communicate the outcomes to the business against the product roadmap and vision
  • End to end management of the product lifecycle from market requirements and development stories to release management
  • Follow our competitors, the industry and government regulation
  • Establish a strong build, measure, learn culture within the team
  • You ensure Product Management disciplines are upheld and promoted across the company

The person

  • Approximately 3+ years experience in product management or related experience (UX, product development, Scrum Mastering or coaching)
  • Strong experience establishing and managing product strategy, product roadmaps, frameworks and best practice
  • Superb understanding and obsession for utilising data; asking the right questions, finding the data that’s needed, distilling it into an insightful story and leveraging it to drive strategic decisions
  • User-focused practitioner, passionate about delivering best-in-class user experiences
  • Exceptional communication and relationship development skills
  • Excellent analytical, conceptual thinking, strategic planning and execution skills
  • A product evangelist who passionately shares product insights throughout the company and industry
  • Strong connection to, or interest in building an understanding of, the Australian disability sector and community
  • Approach work with high-energy, drive and internal motivation
  • Exhibit adaptability, resilience, transparency, trustworthiness, passion and innate curiosity
