We are looking for a motivated, passionate and purpose driven Community Engagement Manager to join our ever-growing team. Reporting into the Head of Community Engagement this role will be responsible for growing Hireup’s workforce of support workers in Perth.

Key activities will include executing on a range of Hireup-led programs, networking at disability sector events and being present at major expos. Other goals include increasing Hireup’s brand presence, awareness and trust in local communities as well as executing and developing programs to expand the use of Hireup across Western Australia.

Priorities - the work

  • Work alongside the wider engagement team to implement activities and programs designed to engage our customers and build our presence in local communities.
  • Develop and implement activities in local communities that will increase the number of support workers accessing and providing support on Hireup in line with state targets.
  • Create, manage and deliver on the Hireup local experience for Perth support workers. This could include additional training and development opportunities, customer success activities, involvement in local events and rewards for the most engaged workers.
  • Activities could include running Hireup events in target suburbs, attending external events where our audience are, working with our content and marketing teams to share stories of the Hireup experience and more.
  • Deliver on KPIs and targets​ - ensure all programs hit set targets to contribute to our growth. 

Skills - the person

  1. An autonomous and capable self-starter​ with experience in managing community engagement programs, events and initiatives.
  2. Demonstrated experience in business development, sales or relationship management with a track record on delivering against targets and KPI’s.
  3. An ability to take the lead and drive programs from execution and report on outcomes.
  4. A team player​ with strong commercial acumen, vision and passion, and the ability to inspire, motivate and connect with peers and team mates.
  5. Experience across the disability sector is favourable.
  6. A growth focus - an entrepreneurial individual with highly developed problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  7. Strong values alignment​ - an empathetic individual, positive and proactive, a great team player, and an excellent communicator.
