About the role

We’re looking for a collaborative, accountable and personable professional to join our small team. We work remotely in Queensland and New South Wales — you can work from anywhere in Australia!

The purpose of this role is to deliver effective recruitment solutions and an exceptional experience to employers and talent.

Our business exists to connect people, solve problems and help people build great teams and careers they love.

Beyond making the all-important match; the Talent Partner will provide advice, guidance and support to employers and talent; leaving a positive impression through every interaction.

Supported by the team, you’ll be responsible for managing the recruitment process including:

  • Hiring manager liaison
  • Writing compelling recruitment marketing content
  • Professional and timely communication and engagement via phone, email and SMS
  • Effective and timely assessment of a high volume of applications
  • Fulfilling the Heart commitment to respond to every application
  • Conducting and reporting on interviews
  • Coordinating hiring manager interviews, feedback conversations, reference checks and employment offers
  • Supporting hiring managers and employees through the early stages of onboarding

About you

You’re organised, proactive and have natural communication and relationship skills. You’re a self starter who enjoys working remotely and gets a buzz out of helping people.

You have some exposure to the recruitment process from your previous experience - perhaps in an agency, HR team or another role in a small business.

We’d love you to bring:

  • Experience in a relationship-focused role such as recruitment, HR, partnerships, fundraising or account service
  • An organised, self-starting working style
  • Good judgement and strong decision making capability
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • A warm, personable and proactive approach
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced role
  • Curiosity, care and drive

The successful candidate will be engaged on a subcontracting basis, invoicing as a sole trader/via ABN during the initial contract period. BYO laptop and phone.
