WHO WE ARE

Heads Together for ABI is a Victorian based not for profit organisation who connects people who understand the experience of brain injury acquired as a young person. We provide social, recreational, educational and leadership programs that create opportunities for people to come together, support each other and educate the wider community.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

A Program Coordinator who is passionate about improving the lives of young people and families impacted by acquired brain injury. Someone with the maturity and understanding to support participants, as well as a dynamic, people focused approach that will engage our diverse community.

You will be responsible for:

  • Driving positive change for families in the Heads Together Community
  • Development and implementation of your portfolio of program/s and their events
  • Collaborating with team members to promote high quality, safe programs that benefit from the lived experience of all members of our community

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • Experience  working as part of a team within a  small to medium sized community organisation
  • Good understanding  and/or lived experience  of  families in the areas of acquired brain injury, peer support, disability and/or trauma informed care
  • Proven experience in the development and coordination of  large community groups  and/or  planning and delivering events based programs for  families, children and/or young adults
  • Experience in coordination of volunteers
