We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced person to join our New Service Design and Transition Team in the role of Tender Writer. This role will have focus on the business development and growth of HWNS Facility Services, part of HWNS Businesses.

Key responsibilities and tasks of this role will be the comprehensive management and preparation of tenders and other business development documentation for HWNS. In this role you will lead the development of documents that support business growth including tenders, documentation for ISO 9001 certification, and other strategic projects.

Essential - Selection Criteria

  • Degree in relevant discipline e.g. Communication or relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent writing, research and communication skills.
  • Experience in writing proposals, tenders and strategic documents. 
  • Strong time management skills to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to travel intra and interstate to attend site inspections and tender briefings as required.

Desirable – Selection Criteria

  • Understanding of the NFP community services sector
  • Understanding of facilities, grounds maintenance and landscaping services
  • Experience in preparing ISO 9001 documentation or other comparable accreditation processes
  • SharePoint for document management skills
