About your role

As a Support Worker, you are directly responsible for the day to day support, personal care and personal development of the people we support. You will provide a range of community living services to assist people with a disability to be actively involved in their local community, be valued, respected and engaged in meaningful opportunities and relationships. You will work both in a team environment and independently.

About you

We’re looking for passionate team players who have experience or a genuine interest in working in the disability field and empowering and enriching the lives of people with a disability. You are enthusiastic, flexible, resilient and possess a growth mindset. To become part of our team you will have:

Essential Selection Criteria:

  • Experience working with and/or a commitment to empowering people with a disability and/or mental health diagnosis
  • Qualifications; or a willingness to undertake Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability)
  • The ability to listen to the customers we support and provide opportunities for them to make the most of their abilities
  • Well-developed communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Sound computer competency with MS Office
  • The ability to work flexibly across a 24 hour roster
  • A current First Aid Certificate and a current Australian Driver’s Licence
  • Experience supporting people with complex needs (Desirable)
