We are seeking an energetic, dynamic person who is passionate about becoming involved in modern, progressive, flexible service delivery under the context of the NDIS.

The Role

You will drive the delivery of existing HWNS Adult Support Services and the growth of new and innovative services to a broad mix of customers across Southern Queensland; extending west to Toowoomba down to the border of NSW and north to Brisbane . You will be required to expertly lead, coach and develop a team of Supported Living Managers, Individual Support Managers and Practice and Learning Advisors to ensure the provision of human rights based approaches and outstanding customer service for customers and their families. Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Exploring the opportunities for current and new customers under the NDIS so that they may lead a ‘great life’;
  • Effective financial management of services to ensure long term sustainability;
  • Reporting and analysis of budget, service contract performance & NDIS plan deliverables;
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with community, government, NDIA and other stakeholders
  • Ensuring your team’s delivery of service provision within legislative frameworks
  • Managing risk and ensuring safe working environments and continuous quality improvement practices

Selection Criteria

  • A genuine passion for supporting the human rights of people with a disability
  • Demonstrated management experience, successfully leading & motivating teams to deliver customer satisfaction as well as financial and quality KPI’s
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in disability, community services, business or a related field
  • A strong financial acumen and people management skills
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship management
  • Proven success identifying and building on new services and customer opportunities
  • Understanding of the NDIS funding model and processes
