The Role

Myhorizon is offering an exciting opportunity for a qualified and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our community and centre based multidisciplinary Allied Health team based at Capalaba. This is a casual position with the opportunity to lead into permanent full-time role for the right candidate.

Enjoy an exciting and rewarding position in a supportive team where you will undertake functional assessments and determine the appropriate early intervention supports, including pathways and linkages to participants and families, through an individually funded NDIS plan. 

The Candidate

To be successful in this role you will be a driven and energetic professional with strong verbal and written communication skills, and be able to demonstrate your skills and experience as an Occupational Therapist in a multidisciplinary team. You will be a motivated, passionate professional, who thrives on supporting children and their families in our local community. 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification
  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • Commitment to providing quality services and care to children and adults with a disability
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence
  • Minimum 12 months experience preferred, but not mandatory for the right candidate
