The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission is a new, independent government agency that commenced operations on 1 July 2018.
The Commission works with people with disability, providers and the community to deliver nationally consistent, responsive and effective regulation for NDIS supports and services.
With its head office in Penrith NSW, the Commission will progressively roll out into every state and territory.

The Opportunity:
We are seeking four Senior Communications Officers to work across the Education, Stakeholder Engagement and Communications portfolios.
These are vital roles in the new agency, which will develop and implement innovative approaches to engaging and communicating with external and internal stakeholders.
The Senior Communications Officers will collaborate with other areas of the Commission and support with consistent approaches to the development, co-ordination, communication, delivery and evaluation of community engagement and education programs and activities.

All successful candidates will have knowledge and experience across these portfolios:
Education portfolio
- Technical knowledge of hybrid learning systems
- Experience writing engagement and educational briefs and reports using plain English
- Experienced digital and print designer (with skills in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Adobe)
- Experience or qualifications in photography or videography is highly sought after
- Understanding of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines
- Qualifications or commensurate experience in Public Relations, Communications or related discipline
Stakeholder Engagement portfolio
- Broad experience engaging with internal and external stakeholders
- Event management experience (including internal, external and online community events)
- Understanding and knowledge of implementing traditional and contemporary engagement activities
- Experience writing engagement and educational briefs and reports using plain English
- Qualifications or commensurate experience in Public Relations, Communications or related discipline
Communications portfolio
- Experienced digital and print designer (with skills in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Adobe)
- Experience or qualifications in photography or videography is highly sought after
- Knowledge of website management and redesign (with skills in HTML, CSS)
- Understanding of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines
- Qualifications or commensurate experience in Public Relations, Communications or related discipline
