About the Role:

As part of the Quality, Safety and Risk (QSR) team the role of Quality Manager works within the Mission and Mission in Action of HammondCare to ensure that HammondCare services have a focus on improvement of care, service and staff safety. This role is based in Scone, NSW

Our QSR Managers work closely with the QSR Head of Region to ensure that our services are aligned with HammondCare’s philosophy and models of care. The role supports the achievement of our service goals and aims. You will provide leadership support to the core business and the service delivery of the organisation.

This role is crucial to ensure HammondCare is meeting the requirements set by external regulatory reviews and undertake investigation, reviews and audits as scheduled or triggered by changes in service delivery or as requested by the QSR Head of Region.

In this role you will:

  • Support the business in understanding the effectiveness of the operations of services provided and ensure all undertakings are aligned with our Mission and Mission in Action.
  • Build trust and maintain strong working relationships with all stakeholders, providing an environment of encouragement to your team to escalate concerns.
  • A willingness to work collaboratively with QSR team on innovation and improvement.
  • Other responsibilities include, undertaking investigation, reviews and audits as scheduled or triggered by changes in service delivery or as requested by the QSR Head of Region and ensuring that the quality schedule is maintained, and concerns are escalated.

Selection criteria:

  • Current RN registration with AHPRA
  • Experience in driving continuous improvement, quality management, standards and processes.
  • Experienced in operating effectively in a multi-site environment.
  • Strong administrative and computer skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Committed to being customer and solution focused
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy and patience.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaborative as a part of a team
  • Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare’s Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action.
