Your new role

In your new position as a Case Worker, you will be providing complex case management for long term interventions to help children and young people to have improved mental health and well being. You will work alongside other services and organisations to implement action plans. You will undertake client advocacy, problem solving, case coordination and reporting as necessary to minimise harm to clients and others.

What you'll need to succeed

  • You must have a Tertiary level qualification in Social Work / Psychology / Health or equivalent
  • Experience working with children and/or young people who have a mental illness
  • Demonstrated experience working with disengaged youth, delivering evidence-based group programs
  • Experience in complex case work and case management, especially in an early intervention context and a cross-cultural setting
  • Demonstrated experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • A current Australian Drivers' Licence and a current and verified Working With Children Check
